In case you missed 60 minutes last night, let me get you up to speed. Jeff Bezos, CEO of the world’s largest retailer, Amazon.com, unveiled a special surprise for viewers yesterday. He introduced the future of effectively shipping packages to their customer through automatic drones. Believe it or not, these drones are programmed to find your GPS coordinates, fly to your house, drop off your package and then leave. Packages can be delivered as soon as 30 minutes from the time they were ordered.
Bezos said that the drones won’t be ready for daily use until 2015 at the earliest.
